The Astral is our freeride boot with a walkable sole. Based on the G1 race boot, the Astral has an anatomic fit, but with a freeride last for comfort when booting up.The Astral cuff fits kindly around your calves. The cuff is lower than a typical man's ski boot and the shell contours closely to your foot for a performance fit. The shell is punched out anatomically in key problem areas such as your big toe, navicular bone, ankle bones (they are asymmetrical by the way), your "6th toe". In other words, the boot is shaped to fit your FOOT, not your binding. Sure, the external dimensions fit ISO Alpine NORM, but inside, it fits your foot.
